How a carabiner works

Push the hinged gate inwards to open the carabiner, attach it to your rope or strap, then release to close. The hinged gate locks back into position automatically, keeping the connection secure during use.

Common uses

Carabiners are a practical fastener for attaching a dog leash to a collar, connecting components in construction or rigging, securing gear during outdoor activities and holidays, and general strap and rope projects.

Compatible rope and cord diameters

These carabiners are suitable for ropes and cords up to 10mm in diameter. Always check the product specifications to confirm compatibility with your cord or strap before ordering.

Not suitable for climbing

The carabiners in this category are general-purpose fasteners and are not rated or certified for climbing use. For safety-critical applications always use certified climbing hardware.
